Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Author(s) have to use the following guidelines for preparation of paper.

Types of paper

  • Original Articles: Full-length papers that containing author(s)’s original research work. Length of original articles is recommended in range of 3000-8000 words.
  • Review Articles: Article containing rigorous, comprehensive, critical, and most recent literature survey. Length of review articles should be more than 4000 words.
  • Short Communications: Articles with limited investigation and showing the critical improvement in methodology/process. Word limit for short communication is 1500-2000 words including figures and tables captions. Figures and tables limit for the short communication is 6-12.
  • Editorials: Maximum 1000 words.

  1. Title (Max. 20 words)
  2. Graphical abstract
  3. Abstract (120-180 words)
  4. Highlights (3-4 bullet points of 180 characters) 
  5. Keywords (6-9)
  6. Introduction
  7. Materials and Methods
  8. Experiments
  9. Results and discussions
  10. Conclusions
  11. Conflict of interest statement
  12. Author(s) credits
  13. Acknowledgement (If any)
  14. References (Vancouver style: use of MENDLEY software is recommended)

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • Manuscript should not include author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s).
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
  • All figure and table citations in the text should match the files provided as figure/table file.
  • Make sure graphical abstract is ready for submission.
  • Make sure Title page (including author(s) name(s)/affiliations) is ready for submission.
  • Upload a Cover letter.
  • Supplemental files (where applicable)
